Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Omar Shalash — also known as “Coach Shalash” — has dedicated his life to excellence, teamwork, and community. As a high school social studies teacher and retired soccer coach, he has always believed that greatness is achieved through passion and discipline.
Founded in the years following COVID-19, Coach Shalash's Kitchen is a full-service catering company specializing in both grilled fare and global cuisines, including a wide range of Middle Eastern dishes.
